The new Liebherr mediline range featuring the Comfort controller provide maximum storage space on a 60cm footprint. These appliances meet the exacting demands of a modern pharmacy or medical environment. The temperature is pre-set to 5C and the forced air-cooling system ensures high temperature consistency and uniform temperature distribution in the interior.
The accurate Comfort electronic control system featured in the new Mediline refrigerator enables accurate temperatures down to 0.1C. The digital display indicates the exact temperature and the operating status at all times. In addition, the controller saves the maximum and minimum interior temperatures that have occurred, the last three temperature alarms and power failures, together with the time, date and duration of the alarm. To ensure perfect hygienic conditions and for easy cleaning, the electronic controller has a membrane keyboard.
These appliances offer an array of alarm functions to ensure compliance with the high safety standards required in the medical sector. They feature both an audible and a visual door-open and temperature alarm. For connection to an external alarm system, the appliances have a volt-free contact and an RS485 serial bus interface for central temperature monitoring and alarm documentation. The appliances are equipped with a safety thermostat to prevent temperatures below +2C.
The grid shelves are height-adjustable and can be removed at a door opening angle of 90 degrees allowing the shelves to be removed without pulling the fridge forward. The tray slides prevent the grid shelves from tipping. The close-mesh shelves ensure secure storage for even the smallest of items. The lighting on the glass door provides uniform illumination of the interior. A provision for an external temperature sensor is fitted near the compressor compartment. The seamless plastic interior is exceptionally easy to clean.
The LKUv1610 measures 820x600x615mm and has a capacity of 141 litres (gross), 130 litres (net) with 3 shelves and a floor grid. The unit is a similar size to a standard domestic undercounter fridge. The internal dimensions are 669x455x435mm and has a solid door.
