Accuracy of content:

We have taken every care in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that prices quoted are correct at the time of publishing and that all goods have been fairly described. However, orders will only be accepted if there are no material errors in the description of the goods or their prices as advertised on this website. All prices are displayed exclusive of VAT. Any weights, dimensions and capacities given about the goods are approximate only. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, as to the accuracy of the information contained in any of the materials on this website and we shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials contained on this website.

Availability:

All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.

Ordering errors:

You are able to correct errors on your order up to the point on which you click on “submit” during the ordering process. If you spot an error after this, please contact us on 0114 275 6642.

Payment terms:

We will charge your credit account for payment upon receipt of your order unless delivery cannot be fulfilled within our standard delivery time frame (5-15 working days). We accept no liability if a delivery is delayed because you did not give us the correct payment details. If it is not possible to obtain full payment for the goods from your account then we can cancel the contract and or suspend any further deliveries to you. This does not affect any other rights we may have.

Delivery charges:

Delivery charges vary according to the type of goods ordered.

Delivery:

Please note that we are only able to deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom. We will deliver the goods to the address you specify for delivery in your order. It is important that this address is accurate. Please be precise about where you would like the goods left if you are out when we deliver. We cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage to the goods once they have been delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions. We will aim to deliver the goods by the date quoted for delivery but delivery times are not guaranteed. If delivery is delayed due to any cause beyond our reasonable control, the delivery date will be extended by a reasonable period and we will contact you to arrange an alternative time. All deliveries must be signed for (except items sent by post and which are small enough to be put through the letterbox). Please keep your receipts received with the goods.
WEEE:
If requested at the time of ordering, we can arrange for your old fridge/freezer to be collected and disposed off in the proper manner. Depending upon the delivery method, this can either be at the same time as the new unit is delivered or shortly after. Please ask if you require more information.

Risk and ownership:

Risk of damage to or loss of the goods passes to you at the time of delivery to you, or if you fail to take delivery at the agreed time, the time when we tried to deliver. You will only own the goods once they have been successfully delivered and when we have received cleared payment in full. Goods supplied are not for resale.

Data Protection:

All customer details are retained for the use of HH System UK, part of Associated Chemists (Wicker) Ltd only and will not be released to any other company for marketing or mailing purposes without permission. Associated Chemists (Wicker) Ltd comply fully with the Data Protection Act.

Goods:

All goods sold will conform to contract i.e., be as described, fit for purchase and of satisfactory quality.

All new goods carry a warranty of 12 months minimum (or up to the manufacturers warranty). The warranty excludes items classed as 'consumable' such as batteries. Warranty is limited to the cost and operation of the product and excludes consequential loss including contents. We suggest you take out suitable insurance to cover the cost of the contents for high value items.

Acknowledgement and acceptance of your order:

You will need to provide us with your e-mail address and we will notify you by e-mail to confirm receipt of your order. This e-mail will also contain full details of your order. An acceptance of your order will take place on despatch of the good(s) ordered.

Right to cancel:

Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of items within a period of 14 working days, beginning the day after the item is delivered. This applies to all of our products. However, we regret that we cannot accept cancellations of contracts for the purchase of the following items: Goods specially ordered, made to customer specifications or goods which are clearly personalised.

To cancel we would require written notification from you (we suggest you use registered post or e-mail) within 14 working days of the date of delivery. The goods must then be returned to us at your own cost (we recommend that all goods are returned by courier or by Royal Mail special delivery). We are not liable for any loss or damage to goods in transit. If the goods were originally delivered by us, the customer must make them available for uplift from their address on the date specified by us in writing. There will be a cost incurred for this collection service.

Until the item is returned to us the customer has a duty to retain the goods and take reasonable care of them. Goods must be returned in the condition originally supplied i.e. complete, unused and 'as new'. Please note that all goods returned to us must be clean and free of any dirt and biological contamination to comply with current Health and Safety Regulations.

If the above terms are met all monies paid for the goods will be refunded, and any part-exchange goods returned in their original condition, within 10 working days. Where initial payment was made by credit card we will refund the amount to that card. Any delivery costs will not be refunded and must be met by the customer.

We reserve the right to withhold a percentage of the refund value of returned goods if the product or packaging is in such condition that the item needs to be reduced in price for resale.

Exclusion of liability:

Any disclaimers and exclusions of liability in these terms and conditions shall not apply to any damages arising from death or personal injury caused by our negligence. These disclaimers and exclusions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. If any provisions of these disclaimers and exclusions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
